Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.

Mornings are often better off with a mug of coffee in one hand and the daily paper in the other. The first page, sports section, a picture on the side with a guy in a Velvet coat holding a trophy and highlighted in bold on the top, “CRISTIANO RONALDO WINS FIFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2008”. It’s amusing how a smile spreads across our face as we continue reading, secretly admiring him and hiding the simple wish that “if I were him…” Its funny how we only admire people for what they are today while giving a blind eye to whom that person was, what he has gone through to become who he is.

Success is one of the ideal bases of life on which one depends to draw an image of him in the society. It is something we have to achieve, something we have to work for, something we have to chase if we want to define ourselves.

But then again, one wonders what this seven letter word literally means? The dictionary is the only place where success comes before work but as for me, success is a chain reaction. Don’t mug up your face and go all blank, but more or less, if you think about it, it really is a chain reaction!
Let me make it “fact-full” and simple. Success in education leads to success in higher studies. Success in higher studies leads to a success in the career of choice. Success in career leads to success in life and ultimate success achieved happiness. See what I mean?

As every thing has a price, success itself comes with a tag; time and devotion, bone cracking work and sweaty hours of non-stop action. Not much of a price to pay if you really want something from your heart because you are the only one who’ll reap the benefits of your work. Lastly, to climb that tall ladder of success you just need a bit of hope, love and inspiration from your parents and trusted friends. Giving up is not an option because life is a real failure when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up.

In the end, when you finally achieve success, you’ll realize two very important things in life. One, Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. Two, Success lies not in time, place or circumstances, but in you…yourself.

Loosing something...

There is a saying which goes like; you realize the value of something when you loose it. It's actually true. When we crave for something, we dream of it as to be the thing which will perfect our lives, but once we get it, we tend to miss-use it, or most of the times, just throw it away or forget about it. It’s actually wise to bear the thought in mind that we don't have a hand in fate, and the things we want don't always end up coming to us in the right package. Sometimes we are so lost in our own fantasies, dreaming about the thing we want the most, we don't realize we over shadow the fact that we actually have the thing we need right beside us, but not in the most perfect way. When we loose it, it’s just a bit too late and have a certain wish to turn back time. Then, in an indirect manner, we wish that we were perfect...Makes me laugh sometimes 'cause we think that we are matured enough when we become teenagers, but I can't help thinking how naive we are sometimes...Am I wrong? Anyway just wondering whether you have faced this situation? I know I have...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LALLU!!!

In the end...

I guess this was the end of the story between "us"...23 January 2009...22:23pm..

Sorry was the last words she said
And with that she started to walk away
Her voice, the only word echoing in my head
Sorry...I guess that's when I lost my way

Little drops of rain splashed on my face
Hot tears chased down my cheeks
Of life, just another incomplete phase
Where a broken heart, for itself speaks

"A thousand and nintey nine days I loved you
Broken into a million pieces I am
I thought you loved me the same way too
Still each of those pieces loves you just the same..."

With the faint beats that kept on pulsing
The icy winds made me shiver
The flickering flame of hope freezing
I guess she'll be mine, never

Felt good somehow standing in the rain
'Cause no one could see me crying
No one would see those scars of pain
And she won't know that this love is dieing

The last 365 days of my teenage someone said
True that I may be moving a bit too slow
I guess this was once a chance I had
Three years back, long long ago

Two choices I had
Two paths, one to my left and one to my right
A smile, enough tears I've shed
My promise, witnessed by the silent night

I decieded to go neither way
I chose to walk the path infront of me
The road sign on the board whispered with a sway
Shining at the end, true love, that's she...

The End...

Anyway, guys, lets see how much you've understood..."Two paths, one to my left and one to my right"...what were they? :p expecting answers from alot of people who know the story ;)

NEFM - NEPALI STYLE!!!

NAMASTEEEEEEEEEI NEpal and welcome to your favourite show, NEFm with the coolest RJ, Hoobustank!! Today was one of those days which I met a typical teenager of Nepal, doing what they do best. I know some people think my life is dramatic, but believe me I don't make it dramatic. It just is! So makesure you have a wild imagination before you start reading this ;)

Today I went to the zoo with some of my mates here. We were almost done oggling at the animals like ten year olds when one of them thought of boating in the river. Quiet unluckily I landed with four eakles which were to be blown away by the wind any moment. But don't worry, they are big at the right places... ;)

Anyway, while paddling through the green lake I saw a "circular rotating thing used in carnivals" in at the end. So we qucikly hurried there. Seven guys went for round one and it was amazing!! So we went up for round two! This time three guys went first and I stayed down to video it. A lot of high school girls and boys were smooching at corners, in public (don't worry, they weren't that good at kissing, so you don't need to imagine it too much) and there was this innocent lonely guy standing there. I thought he had no money for the ride.

I went and stood next to him. Guess what he said? "I don't have to pay for the sight I'm seeing. Its much better then riding." I was puzzled and searched the whole area but I could spot no such thing. I asked him what it was and he replied..
"Every time the coster goes up, I get to see the under the skirt of all those cute girls. So far everyones wearing something inside. Just waiting for my luck...!"

Next moment it stopped. Aged ladies got on the ride and they were dressed pretty badly, and guess what? When the ride started, that teenager fainted! I guess he got what he wanted. Or maybe there was a "special" type of female on board...You know, the ones who like "trans-plants"...What? They are just plants right? Roots with two onions and a really long or short, burnt or lightly fried flower stalk bearing a pink or purple flower!

CHao guys...

Tasting the Winds of Freedom...

This is how my life has changed since I reached Nepal. We define freedom in so many ways yet we don't know when we are free or when we are over-riding the freedom of others. As for me, I now know what freedom is like. This foto was taken from my room partners N71 on the roof top of our hospital cabin. If anyone found out, we would have been in big trouble. Then again whats life without a bit of mischief and fun?

SOrry!
Hey guys, sorry for the long gap between the posts...Was busy with my first exams...It was really tough... ;) The sunsets around seven pm in the night and it rises at half past five in the morning...I don't need an alarm clock because the little sparrows and robins who have made nests below my window start singing their tune for breakfast...The night is alive with music with the frogs croaking, the bats weening and the cats crawling...And the rest of the day is awesome with all my cabin mates and new friends...Come to think of it, I don't miss home that much right now...Maybe that's the reason why my mouth has been shooting off with NEFM non-stop last two days and my friends are having belly aches...Jeez, I wonder why...Can you guess? I'll be back with another post really soon...Until then ADIOS AMIGOS!!!

I'M BAAACCKKK!!!!!!

Holaring to you all from Nepal, finally, after a month of hard work I have broken through those barriers which tried to keep me away from my readers. I apologize for the "lambaaaa" duration it took. Anyway the first post in Nepal, (my heart is racing, so much to write, don't know where to start from). OK, ok..

Nepal is a mountain range country with unbelievably kind people who suffer alot due to political revolutions and influence of India. I landed in this beautiful country on the 24th of January 2009 and reached my new home town, Bhairahawa late that night. Firstly I was alone and knew no one. So the first day I had three apples for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was very cold then.

I met some friends on the 28th of January when first I attended class. I didn't know what was so special about me, the Nepalese boys welcomed me like their own brother. They taught me the rules and dressed me like a Nepalie so that I was safe. I can't thank them enough for that. After that I was welcomed by ghosts on the third night, but thats another story...

So far, I have got my visa and found this rural town quiet peaceful and easy to live apart from poor internet and mobile services. I do miss home, family, friends and Naruto so much. I'm currently in a cyber but am planning to get my own connection as soon as possible.

I also met this girl who looks so much like Ziusha. She actually looked at me and smiled and there definitly was a spark. Yet again, thats another story so I guess you'll have to wait for it.

Finally coming to my studies, MBBS is not as easy as it sounds, 8 major subjects and 18 sub-classes to study this year. I have a lot to do and a lot of preparations before April 6th because there is an internal exam on that date. Practicals are starting next Monday and in the first class we have to examine dead bodies. NAKED bodies..hehehe..I have lost a lot of weight and have some pics which cannot be updated due to poor computer services here. But, I promise I'll find a break through and update it...Until next time...
