Love or Friendship: Which is stronger?

The world is full of mysteries where everything next to nothing exists. Power is a word when said, that gains respect but when shown, regretted. Thus, the tongue becomes sharper than a sword and fluidity in speech becomes the strongest weapon. Whatever happened to the Mk-47's, grenades, missiles and tanks? That's why the world is said to be full of surprises and nobody except a fool will deny this.

Coming to the topic, Love or Friendship, what do these two words characterize? Love is said to be the single most powerful emotion. It is said to symbolize caring, sharing and giving. If so, what is friendship? Doesn't friendship characterize the same stuff? These are some questions that are asked so often, but does anyone have the solution? Likewise, every question that exists has an answer and every new answer sprouts another question.

I don't intend to be a know it all, but I'll try my best to answer this question. Love and friendship share a core of other emotions in common. Love believes in sacrifice while friendship costs nothing but a smile. Love can hurt, while friendship can heal. Friendship is the beginning of love while sometimes lack of love can be the end of friendship. Love is an emotion that is felt in a hug; a kiss or a caress...So is friendship. Friendship depends on trust and the truth...So does love. If so, we can say these two emotions are two petals on the same flower with the slightest of differences. But which is stronger? Love or friendship?

I'll let you decide this. Just read the following story...

Love and friendship met on a highway. Love asked friendship, “Why do you exist when I'm around?". Friendship replied, “To bring a smile on those faces where you leave tears..."

So which is stronger? Love or Friendship?
